ok. despite the reason that this laptop has a bamboo casing because it's jumping on the Green/renewable resources/eco-friendly gimmick bandwagon, and my supreme loathing for this latest marketing fad and gimmickry, my love for bamboo supercedes it and i love this.

Debuted in Taiwan last year, i just may keep an eye out for it in 09 and get a job so i can get one of these.

....or do it johnny dangerously style and put bamboo contact paper on my macbook.

New Orleans moment- Sitting outside one of my favorite coffeeshops, I just had to stop these girls and love on her kicks. Super cute shell toed Adidas on a couple of supercute girls. They of course, loved on Pixel, which was my in to get them to let me snap a pic of the kicks.

Ok. i don't need shoes. I am the LAST person that NEEDS shoes. but i do need shoe ADVICE. It's been decided that this skirt is not too tiney after all, and the bootses look so very very cute with it, but it's freakin August in New Orleans. even I know that to wear this would be absurd.

So i ask, what shoes would be the shoes to wear with such a cute little skirt? Is everyone up to speed on my insecurities? They all lie below the knee. well, below the ankle, really. My calves are big which is fine. My ankles are tiney. Which is all good. but my feet. My feet should have been bound as a child while the bones were still bendy.

Due to the tiney of the ankle and the thick of the calf, my not-petite to begin with feet, look even longer and skinnay-er. no. i'm not tellin anyone my shoe size either.

it leads me to the point that flats are not an option with the skirty skirt. That is why i'm in need of the sage advices.

My first inclination is to really rock it 80s style, with some old skool 'boks, but i'm not feelin the black.

So what's a Savage to do? Flats are not an option and i'm over flipflops. Throw a sister a bone here and gimme what you got. I'm dying to wear this skirt out while i'm still skinnay.

These are some great jeanses for the girl with the kind of curves where the waist is much smaller than the hips, usually resulting in a big gap in the waist of jeans. (meaning, bubble bootie). we're narrower in the hips also, so it makes it almost impossible to find trouser cut jeans that fit right, because the trouser cut jeans are cut for a shape that is also curvy, but with more spread in the hips, so it's actually a straighter cut on top which does not fit a bootie-blessed girl at. all. it's like putting a tennis ball inside a box. plus the slash pockets that usually define a trouser cut jean starts poking out, due to it's forced wrapping around a round surface. If the bootie blessed girl wants a wide legged jean, look for something like this. it's wide legged, yet the fit on the top is cut like a jean, giving in to the curve of the hip, with pockets that do not widen the line of the hips, as slash pockets usually do. Pockets. i do not think most people take the pocket into account when picking out jeans. Back pockets could be the difference between a very spankable bootie and a flat, wide, brownie pan bootie. Nobody wants a pan bootie. If the pockets are too big, too low, and too far apart, it just s-p-r-e-a-d-s out the bootie, making it look wider, and flattens it out and if the pockets are too low, they make the bum look like it's just melting into the backs of the thighs. who wants a melting bootie? These are great back pockets, they are not too big, not too far apart, it doesn't stand out with unneccesary over detailing, the yoke detail frames the perk of the bootie, and will give a flatter bootie some perk, and make a perky bootie absolutely spankable. Trust me. spankable is what we want. The wash of the denim is also excellent. A darker wash allows the jean to be as dressy as you want, or as casual as you want, and will never be thought of as a passing trend. Why anyone would wear the hideous skinny jean that is so incredibly detrimental to a woman's figure, but oh so re-trendy now, when there are jeans like this, just waiting to make you look good? dWELL - Women's Ellwood Silicon Denim (Indigo)
